Leobots
Electrical engineering, computer science and mechanical engineering students work together in building a robot to compete in the European “Eurobot” championship. In this amateur robotics contest, autonomous robots have to solve a different task every year, such as building a tower or playing a game of chess. Student teams from all over the world have nine months to prepare for the event. The best three teams selected in the national trials then go on to compete in the Eurobot finals, which are held in a different country each year. The HTWK Leipzig LeoBots have been a two-time finalist in the Eurobot contest.
