The main campus of HTWK Leipzig is located in the south of the city. This campus connects various university buildings right on the popular Karl-Liebknecht-Strasse and the side streets leading off it.
There are also other university buildings at various locations in Leipzig.

Getting to HTWK Leipzig
By tram and bus
The station "Richard-Lehmann-Straße, HTWK" near the campus can be reached with the trams 9, 10 and 11, which all stop at the Leipzig main station as well (tram 9 towards Connewitz/Klemmstraße, tram 10 towards Lößnig, tram 11 towards Markkleeberg-Ost - travel time around 15 minutes).
From the main train station, the bus 89 also reaches the campus in 15 minutes (final stop: Connewitz Kreuz).
From the east of Leipzig, you can reach the campus by bus 70 (towards Markkleeberg-West).
By train
Numerous local and long-distance trains along with all lines of Central Germany's city trains (S-Bahn) stop at the Leipzig main train station.
To reach the campus you can either use the trams 9, 10 and 11 (stop "Richard-Lehmann-Straße, HTWK") or the bus 89 towards Connewitz Kreuz (tram 9 towards Connewitz/Klemmstraße, tram 10 towards Lößnig, tram 11 towards Markkleeberg-Ost - travel time around 15 minutes).
By plane
If you arrive at the airport Leipzig/Halle, you can directly take the city train 5 or 5x (S-Bahn) towards Leipzig main train station (travel time around 15 minutes).
To reach the campus, you can either use the trams 9, 10 and 11 (stop "Richard-Lehmann-Straße, HTWK") or the bus 89 towards Connewitz Kreuz (tram 9 towards Connewitz/Klemmstraße, tram 10 towards Lößnig, tram 11 towards Markkleeberg-Ost - travel time around 15 minutes).
By car
The campus is located south of the city centre. The destination address for the navigation system is: Karl-Liebknecht-Straße 132, 04277 Leipzig.
The easiest way to reach the campus is the federal highway 2, exit Richard-Lehmann-Straße. Parking around the campus is free of charge, but very limited. There is a seperate parking area for staff and students in Gustav-Freytag-Straße.
The campus is perfectly integrated into the network of routes of the Leipzig Transport Services (LVB). We therefore recommend your arrival by public transportation.
