HTWK Leipzig
Important notice concerning security measures in the ongoing pandemic situation
The pandemic situation due to the spread of the coronavirus continues to be a threat to the health of an undefined number of people. HTWK Leipzig has taken a number of measures to best possible secure the health of students and staff as the university continues to operate as normal as possible. The university has returned to classroom teaching with hybrid formats as an exception when necessary. Students will be informed about their classes by the contact person at their respective faculty. University buildings are open for students, staff and the public.
The hygiene concept of the university was updated on 20 September 2022 and applies until further notice:
- Wearing a mouth-nose-cover (FFP2) in all common areas of the university is strongly recommended for everyone.
- We recommend all students and staff to air rooms and all common areas thoroughly on a regular basis. Please avoid the use of lifts and instead use the staircases in the buildings, if possible.
- Please keep a distance of at least 1.5 metres to other people, if possible.
- We strongly recommend to follow the common rules of hygiene (hand hygiene, coughing and sneezing etiquette) and to avoid direct physical contact with other people (i.e. no hand-shaking, no hugging).
- Persons with undefined symptoms of illness or a suspected coronavirus infection are not allowed to enter the university buildings. They are advised to seek medical clarification.
