NEWS: HTWK Leipzig becomes a member of the European University Association
In January 2010, the Council of the European University Association (EUA) voted to admit HTWK Leipzig as a full member. HTWK Leipzig is now one of only eleven German universities of applied sciences, and the first in East Germany, to be granted admission to EUA, the main voice of the higher education community in Europe. The University’s exceptional track record in research and development as well as its ongoing efforts to promote junior scientists were the main factors that helped HTWK Leipzig join the prestigious ranks of more than 800 mostly research-intensive universities from 46 countries.
