HTWK Leipzig

Important notice concerning the outbreak of the coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2)

The HTWK Rectorate has decided that the upcoming summer semester 2020 will formally begin as scheduled on 6 April 2020, but all classroom teaching is suspended until 4 May 2020. Distance learning offers are not affected.

Since a prolongation of this suspension cannot be ruled out, the HTWK Rectorate and teaching staff are currently working on the introduction of alternative forms of teaching. Digital alternatives are expected to be available starting 6 April.

All exams of the remaining winter semester will be postponed with immediate effect. At the moment, exams are rescheduled for a period at the end of May 2020.

Furthermore, the library, the computer pools, the HTWK gym and the student dining hall (Mensa) are closed until further notice. All events at HTWK Leipzig are cancelled until 30 June 2020.

The buildings on the HTWK campus are closed as well. Access to the buildings is only possible with a HTWK Card and a PIN. All offices cancelled their face-to-face consultation but HTWK staff members are still available via telephone and email.
