Prof. Sturm gave an introduction to R and delivered a research lecture at Renmin University
From 21 to 25 September 2026, Prof. Sturm took part in a summer school at the School of Applied Economics at Renmin University of China in Beijing. At Renmin University, Prof. Sturm taught courses on ‘Introduction to Using R’ and delivered a research lecture on ‘The Effectiveness of the Paris Agreement’. He also held discussions with PhD students at the School of Applied Economics. The events were organised by Prof. Dr Jiansuo Pei and Dr Pin Sun. Renmin University is one of China’s leading universities. A few years ago, it opened a new, modern campus in Beijing Tongzhou (50 km from Beijing city), where the summer school also took place.
