Hello, I'm Reem and I study social work. I am the contact person for prospective students attending German courses at the HTWK who do not yet have student status. You are welcome to attend my consultation sessions or contact me by email.

Counselling sessions can be held in German, English or Arabic.

Counselling topics:

• Finding accommodation/flats
• Communication with authorities (especially immigration office and job centre)
• Financing your studies/looking for a job
• Psychological problems
• Application procedures at universities
• Help with topics such as language learning, pregnancy and women's counselling
• Finding the right support services
• Arriving on campus and settling into university life

Open consultation hours (without appointment): Mondays, 13:00–15:00. Appointments by email.
