The Friends of HTWK Leipzig
We support the future!
The HTWK Leipzig Friends’ Association was founded on 11 August 1994 as an association of friends of the university and currently has more than 600 members, comprising former students, members and relatives of HTWK Leipzig, companies in the region, and supporters who feel a connection to the university.
The Friends’ Association supports and promotes the development of the university both in spirit and in practice. Together with supporters from society, politics and academia, the association fosters dialogue and maintains contacts between the university and its alumni, the business community, regional institutions and the general public.
We focus our support on:
- particularly gifted students
- study periods and internships abroad
- innovative final-year projects
- support for start-ups
- the internationalisation of studies
- Events and conferences (e.g. colloquia, workshops, graduation symposia)
- links with companies and institutions
- the development of the HTWK Leipzig alumni network.
