‘Start-up’ career path: support for entrepreneurs
The aim of the project is to develop and establish support services for start-up founders in various formats at HTWK Leipzig. The aim is to raise awareness of the ‘Start-up’ career path amongst all members of the university community during their time studying or working at HTWK Leipzig, and to provide support along this path where appropriate.
With the help of a team of start-up advisors, the focus is on a five-pillar concept (5C):
- Coaching: individual support for promising start-up projects from the initial idea through to launch
- Contacts: Development of a network comprising former founders (start-up alumni), experts, mentors and trade fair contacts
- Community: establishing a vibrant start-up scene for the exchange of ideas, experiences and best practices
- Coworking: Establishment of the university’s own incubator with workspace for founders
- Creation: Design of the university’s own prototype centre, including a creative space, workshops and laboratories
The various themes will be developed step-by-step and in line with demand over the course of the project and offered through the start-up consultancy ‘Startbahn 13’, which was initiated as part of the project.
