MoLeWa

The MoLeWa project – Mobility Leipzig in Transition – supports the region’s automotive industry and mobility service providers in discovering and capitalising on the opportunities offered by digitalisation. To this end, MoLeWa provides advisory and information services for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) on digital transformation. These include topic-specific workshops (e.g. on alternative drive technologies) and transformation consultation days. Furthermore, MoLeWa aims to develop best-practice case studies for the digitalisation of business models in collaboration with local companies.

HTWK’s contribution to the MoLeWa project lies in developing an approach to assess the level of digitalisation and data integration within companies. The aim is to illustrate the potential within these companies using a model that takes a cost-benefit analysis into account. The case studies form the basis for the model and the proposed measures. Based on these case studies, recommendations for action will be developed and potential measures evaluated.
