The use of the web-based technology Samarbeid in small organisations
Samarbeid integrates three key aspects of organisational management:
- Control: It enables structured yet flexible management of all tasks and workflows within the organisation.
- Collaboration: It enables task-centred collaboration and communication, both within the organisation and with external parties.
- Information: Samarbeid enables the capture, networking and reuse of all data and documents generated in tasks and processes. Through its use, Samarbeid creates the organisational memory.
In addition, samarbeid has the following non-functional unique selling points:
- Samarbeid is open source (MIT licence).
This gives user organisations full control over their own processes and data. For data-sensitive applications, there are few alternatives to samarbeid. - Samarbeid is optimised for organisations with limited digital expertise. These organisations can use samarbeid to digitise their operational workflows without needing their own IT staff. This opens up digitalisation opportunities for many organisations that were previously excluded from this due to their size, lack of expertise and limited capacity.
- Samarbeid is a learning system. Small organisations in particular operate in a highly dynamic environment. Thanks to an innovative technological foundation, samarbeid can adapt easily and dynamically to changes. With this flexibility, samarbeid is an innovative digitalisation tool for learning, rapidly changing organisations.
Project objective
At the start of the project, the samarbeid prototype will be used by five organisations in their day-to-day work – this operational use will demonstrate the proof of principle. The aim of the project is to validate the innovative digitalisation technology for small businesses with limited digital skills. To this end, a study group of pilot users will be established and, with the help of a productivity study, particularly suitable key sectors and application scenarios for samarbeid will be identified.
