Project management

The aim is to develop new training and further education formats and content
The aim of the project is to develop training and further education content relating to microstructured functional surfaces. The focus is on the interplay between material, surface structure and production process in the creation of surface functionalities. In doing so, existing degree programmes will be integrated and new training formats developed.
The project aims to combine topics relating to the processes, structures and materials used in the production of functional surfaces, whilst actively involving skilled workers and businesses in rural areas of central Germany. The aim is to meet the current needs of German companies.
The project will initially develop a requirements profile for training in the field of printing and coating. This involves designing individual training modules that are integrated with the existing degree programmes in Digital Print Technology (BA) and Printing and Packaging Technology (MA), as well as other training and further education programmes. Staff from the Faculty of Computer Science and Media at HTWK are supporting the project, particularly in developing a concept for the application of digital learning and embedded learning in training and further education in the field of functional surfaces. The aim is to digitise teaching using appropriate methods, incorporating all processes of knowledge transfer, knowledge consolidation and learning communication. These components will be integrated into a didactic concept that provides optimal support for the target group during their training in the field of functional surfaces. These will be complemented by the development of self-monitoring methods to expand the possibilities for measuring learning success.
